Whoops....you mean I can't have all this stuff without paying while killing some time at USC??!?!
Have fun with this Tim Floyd. Fortunately, the NCAA looks a little differently when this stuff involves a school like USC. Now, if it happened at our fair school, Mr. Brand would be giving us the death penalty, by next Friday, at the latest. But he is the head coach. If he really didn't know anything about it, as the guy who is responsible for the program, he should be aware of what's going on.

They must be under the "Three's Company" rule. Since USC gave us John Ritter (Jack Tripper) they must be figuring that this is all based on just one big misunderstanding. Just like the show.

Gee I sure hope no returning USC players get suspended next year. You know, since they played with a guy who received improper benefits this year.  |

Perhaps the NCAA can dock some scholarships at ISU as a penalty to USC. Floyd did coach here before. |

It is pathetic how big schools can get away with ANYTHING. It pisses me off that we have to play on different playing fields.
I wish we could pay our athletes. We might as well start.

I just figured out how the NCAA can bust us! The gifts that Charles Boozer receives from his brother! I'm sure they can find a way to call that improper and remove a schollie or two....but maybe they should wait until our program starts to improve a little further...

I find it interesting that this always surfaces conveniently after the season is done. Just like it did with Bush, it can be swept under the rug during the offseason and avoid any sanctions. If it were to come out during the season, the NCAA (in their infinite wisdom) may have been forced to penalize these special players for not playing by the rules.
I hate USC. Such a great conflict of interest it caused for me when TF took that position.

This story is blowing up. I wouldn't count on no punishment for USC this time around. Ol' Timmer is stuck between a rock and a hard place with this, just like a politician who had a scandal hit their administration. If he knew about it he's a crook. If he didn't know about it, he's incompetent. I'm just glad that we finally have a coach with integrity.
