ISU grads - what do you miss most about ISU?

Terrace Parties at the MU
Late night runs to Perkins
Pickup Games at State, Beyer and PEB (Forker)
Hot women in my classes

Some things I don't miss include class projects, fire drills, and Salisbury Steak/Bake Cod Almondine night at the dorms

EDIT: I also don't miss standing in line for meals at the dorms and those awful looking Night Owl Sandwiches. They looked like vomit on a bun...

I miss the paintball team parties we had and road trips to Orlando to get drunk, shoot people and get drunk again.

I have to say BWR.
There was nothing more fun than living in a guys dorm with all there was to do.

-Being close to basketball, volleyball, and football games and going/tailgating as a group
-Getting a group to the rec for basketball until close
-IM's as a house.
-Eating as a group at Oak-Elm and commenting on the girls and nicknaming EVERY single person
-Late night games of Risk
-Bunch of guys sitting in someone's room or den eating Home Team pizza and philosophizing, arguing, sharing view points, and farting.
-Distracting the Enginerds by getting them out to the courtyard to throw a ball or frisbee and meet some ladies.
-Practical jokes
-Sister floor activities

After graduating I was seriously depressed. Went from having a family of 50 guys where something was always happening to the working world where people were old and lame :) oh... and there were no chicks!

1. Pickup basketball - always had a soft spot for State Gym
2. Sorority circle the first warm day of spring
3. Student tickets
4. FAC at People's with Larry Meyer and Jack Gallup (Jack wore moon boots!)
5. Little Tai Pei after FAC (ordering extra spicy so you can taste it)

I miss FAC with my friends.
Basketball at the rec.
Waiting an hour outside Hilton before a big game so I can sprint the the front row.
Days with only one or no classes.
Being on campus.
Great bars, Paddys, Mickey's and my favorite Cy's.

Basketball at the rec
girls sunbathing is various courtyards and IM fields
Staying up late playing playstation and skipping 8 or 9 oclock classes.

I forgot to list FAC (Friday After Class), I do FAC now (Friday After Cubicle) but it is not remotely the same.

Is FAC limited to Iowa? People up here in Minnesota don't know what it is.

I've never heard the term "FAC" used outside of Ames.

Although I prefer the first couple weeks of fall semester when it's still nice out...at least the ladies had had all summer to work off the previous winters' 'hibernation' reserves.
