ISU grads - what do you miss most about ISU?

I miss:

-having no real responsibilities
-having very few monthly bills
-ISU BB under Johnny Orr
-partying with Sorority girls
-the campus in the spring

Plus - Veenker Golf Course, the ridiculously low price of a student season pass at Veenker - and the deep dark tan and bleach blond hair that resulted. Being on the golf course ALWAYS trumped going to class.

I used to drive through sorority circle in my Wragler just checking out the girls tanning. I don't think my wife would approve of that now but it was always enjoyable.

Playing darts 'til closing time with my friends out at Welch Ave. Station.
Annual Halloween party.
Watching Troy Davis rack up the yards.
Waking up with out a hangover after drinking what I swear was my own bodyweight.

this is a pretty exclusive thread..... some of us went to ISU but didn't graduate. And others may 'tried' more than once.

I miss scrapping money up for the Gyro at the end of a great night out.

First of all...FAC exists outside of Ames. I've been to a number of colleges that have it...and second of all, GOD DO I MISS IT!

People's was great for that (RIP)

Other things I miss:
No Responsibility? No problem.
Sorority Circle
Tailgaiting
Hockey Games
Zombies at Lost and Found
SUPER DOGS!
Room 1 at Hamilton Hall (us Electronic Media majors made that our second home)
Thursday nights at Chasers...

1. Do-Biz cookie run at 10pm for a study break
2. Not gaining weight after a Do-Biz cookie run
3. Skipping classes when too hung over
4. Pick-up basketball games at Rec and State Gym
5. Not having my body creak and groan after playing basketball (like Indiana Jones stated, "It's not the years, it's the mileage.")

-Home team Cheese Bread
-Jogging through Sorority circle with the rest of the pitchers and no coaches.
-Freshmen girls 'dressing up' for class.
-ALWAYS something to do...
-Late night pickup games at HILTON.

I miss pretty much everything already listed.

Most notably:
FAC. Tried FAW (Work) but its a lot harder to drink from 5pm until the bars close when you are older.
Living in a house with all of my friends.
Having the time to play 20 seasons of NCAA Football Dynasty Mode.
The scenary when it begins to warm up. ;)

About the only things I don't miss:
Having no money
Homework, papers, projects, and finals
