This is like the greatest poll ever or something, lol.

It's all of ours. Koom-by-ah

Wow, guys - it's called sarcasm. Other than SH, DJK, and Mr. Miller, no one on this site actually meant it when they voted for them...

Anyone in their right mind on page with that one? Doubtful.
Me? I'd much rather have that national trophy over the Cy-Hawk any day.
I absolutely get what you are saying, and I agree with what you're saying - I'd rather have the BCS Champion trophy over the Cy-Hawk. However, even though they are mutually exclusive events, I don't see BCS champion happening without us winning the Cy-Hawk trophy. I think we'd have to finish the season undefeated, and even then it's no guarantee as it would be a long climb to the top of the polls for us and it's quite possible due to national respect alone that one or two 1-loss teams could be ranked ahead of us in the BCS standings, even if we are undefeated. And that 2002 Iowa game is a valid argument - they were expected to be very good that year - maybe not BCS-good, but nonetheless very good. It's amazing they recovered the way they did, but nonetheless they still didn't make it to the championship game. I think we'd be hard-pressed to think that we would end up in the championship game if we lost the Cy-Hawk game earlier in the year. I honestly think ANY run at the championship game would have to mean absolute perfection in the previous 13 games.
