WHO Radio Sports

I am correct when I think I heard the play by play guy for Iowa doing sports on WHO radio a few days this week in the AM. What does Clear Channel have against ISU. First we have no true voice on KXNO, then their blow torch has 3 guys that are huge Iowa fans doing the sports. What gives? Guys that dont even hide their allegence to Iowa.

To recap WHO has an 80something former voice of the Hawkeyes in Zabble as their sports director, who doesnt even live in Iowa anymore.

They have the founder of a Hawkeye web site in Jon Miller as their sports director to be.

Now they have the current voice of the Hawkeyes as their backup we dont want to hire a Cyclone sports talker.

And they wonder why JP has to give out signs and put up billboards.

I want a Cybookie event on how many damn radio and Jon Miller threads we are going to have.

For all those people who rag on Jon and claim never to listen, you sure like to write about him.

I interpreted this as less a shot at jon and more a question on the policies of a radio station . . .

I interpreted it as more whining about ISU not getting a fair shake on the radio.

It is more of a question of why there are not ISU people on the radio. Any ideas. Do our media people smell or something? Are we hard to work with? Do we not know how to talk properly?

All I want is someone that knows ISU sports on the radio and right now it isnt happening.

The key is to get to the companies that advertise on WHO and let them know you don't do business with one sided advertisors...you got to hit them where it hurts, in the pocket. Sounds extreme, but thats how things get changed.
