Ahahaha, Texas Tech's face of the program is Yosemite Sam

I really think it should be the guy who got a little too excited ringing that bell.

I'd post a youtube link but can't from work, someone able to oblige me?

"I just back into town and I hear all this stuff, and Buster Olney is making my team up now and [Genske] wants to tell me who is going to pitch here. No one is going to tell us who to put on our team and no one on ESPN is going to tell us who should pitch for my team. " -Gardy

How about what sport is the Face of Boston?

Red Sox won last summer with Manny, Josh Beckett, and David Ortiz.
Pats almost went undefeated with Brady and our ex alum.
Celts just won with KG, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.
New England pro soccer is big time.

What do you think? Looks like Boston has replaced Detroit.

Hobbs was a great Cyclone. HOWEVER, I watched an NFL game this past season where the players introduce themselves - he didn't mention ISU - instead he mentioned De Soto HS or something like that. I've never forgiven him - I was waiting for the ISU name to be heard.

How does one become an EX ALUM? Does he go back to school and then flunk out?

Just a joke about his alma mater vs high school.

He went to high school most of last year as far as TV went; maybe he will mention his college this year.

Can't be the face of the program if you can't mention the program. Didn't mean to strike a nerve, I'm a relatively new member.

No worries, this has just been an issue brought up about as often as Hawkeye players get arrested

There has been some discussion and it seemed to be a mistake on Ellis' part and was not fixable. We'll see if he does it differently now....however I'm not sure if the NFL is still have players do their own introductions anymore

Not really a nerve with me, just with how everybody talked about it after it happened. I saw you joined after the football season too so I probably shouldn't have quoted your post on it. Anyway, Hobbs wouldn't make the top 5 of my list. I think the fact of him being a recent player sticks in the mind of lots of people though.

You mean the same guy that wears more ISU gear in the locker room than any other pro that I can think of? Wow, yeah, I can see why that's so completely unforgivable...

Can we lay the hatchet in this one already???
