    But at the end of the season I think USC has a much better shot at being #1 than Georgia. Georgia's schedule is ridiculous.

    Hawkins is one crazy SOB. Maybe not this year, but in a year or two I fully expect CU to be in the mix for the North year after year.

    I don't see Hawkins ever making Colorado what they were back in their glory days. I just don't.

    Us winning a game that we never EVER should have against Colorado due to a boneheaded move on his part just knocked my opinion of him down a bunch.

    That and his eyes are too close together.

    That's where I am. I still think the guy can coach, but ya gotta have some doubts after that. I mean, folks on this board ripped on D-Mac for losing these types of games.

    I think CU will have some good seasons under Hawkins, I just don't think it starts this year. Schedule being the biggest reason.

    Single-covering Blythe on more than one occasion (basically single covering him the entire 2nd half) was more than a mistake - it was a completely boneheaded move.

    I have absolutely no idea why they switched to that in the 2nd half. Completely shut us down in the first half, then change defenses? And to make it worse, once we start hurting them - don't adjust?

    Heck yes, Georgia is #1! Go Dawgs! I heart Georgia, so much. Glad to see them on top of the mountain for now, but they have an absurdly hard schedule this year.

    I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

    It's not like Georgia is going to last long at the #1 spot. The winner of the Ohio State/USC game will be handed the #1 ranking soon after.
