They also made some really dumb penalties such as the roughing the kicker, and I will hand it to LSU's offensive coordinator...he did a very nice job of scheming. But seriously, they didn't get beat because of a lack of speed. Take a look at the year before....do you really think that Tedd Ginn and Santonio Holmes are slow in comparison to anybody? I think not.

I'm hoping for a USC-Mizzu national title (pending ISU doesn't make it ). Oh, yes I do know that OSU wouldn't have the record they do year in and year out if they were in the SEC.

Hey, they get all there bowl games basically as home games anyways, so its only fair.

Sorry, ya don't know that. You may believe it and it quite likely to be true, but it's far from a known.
Unless, of course, you swapped Vandy and OSU around on the PS3 or Xbox - than ran it through game simulator...

tOSU is probably in the National Title game barring major injuries with or without a loss to USC. That being said, I think they beat USC to leave no doubt... and I hate the Buckeyes. | | |

There isn't a ton of college football played in completely frigid weather. It's not like the NFL where games are going on in December (outside of CFB conference title games, played no farther north than KC) and January.

This is a ridiculous debate, fueled by negativity and a dash of envy. OSU is a powerful team, no question. You can't hypothetically put them in another conference and expect to be able to predict what would happen "beyond any reason of doubt" as a lot of people like to do.
I will be rooting for the Buckeyes against USC, and I feel they have a great chance to run the tables with almost the entire team returning.

You don't have to worry about Ohio State playing against Georgia in the Nat'l Title game because Georgia will not be there.
No way will a proven choker like Georgia go through the SEC unscathed.
Ohio State (other than USC) has a super-soft schedule and I would be surprised if they are not playing in the Nat'l Title game for the 3rd year in a row.

I think not. Those two guys were fast. I don't remember how fast their running backs were or weren't, but I would certainly give you the trenches. They don't do so well there against the SEC teams.
