Not sour grapes at all. I just don't understand the support for OSU on an ISU site. I am an ISU fan. I hope we really make it someday and have some great seasons, I cheer for the Clones and support them with my money. OSU does not matter to me, other than the fact I like to see Big10 teams lose in most everything, completely overrated conference.

I think most big-time football programs cheat: USC, OSU, FSU, and many of the SEC teams. It is what it is. The NCAA does not treat them the same as the less glamourous schools. Just look at USC and what they have gotten away with, between the Bush stuff and I think Jarrett living almost rent free with Leinart. Am I painting with a rather broad brush? Sure. That does not mean it isn't true.

As for OSU, we can go back to the Clarett stuff, which I posted earlier.

ESPN - Clarett claims cash, cars among benefits - College Football

So yes, I do believe OSU cheats. Why shouldn't they if they can get away with it?

How about OSU playing Texas in the non conference a few years back?
OSU has to really get up for what, 4 games this season then? USC, Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin. Playing Texas in the past does not excuse playing patsies now. OSU can do home and aways with most anybody if they choose to, 100k in the stands plus the TV audience would be huge, so it is apparent they choose not to. As long as OSU is in that powder puff conference, with a Charmin soft OOC schedule (for the most part) and no conference championship game, the powers that be should quit putting them in the NCG, as well as giving them postseason awards. Troy Smith has a Heisman? Really? McFadden and Quinn were first round NFL picks, and Troy? Perfect example of overrated OSU.
