First off- we're not going to surprise anyone if CFN keeps telling everybody!

Second- No matter how bad Nebrasky is this year, or any year, I will never, ever be disappointed

Patrick who?

I was in a softball tournament with a couple k-state alumns and got to talkin' a little pigskin with them. I brought up the fact that their recruiting class was loaded with more Juco talent than I had ever seen....he was telling me that alot of those guys had only played one year at Juco and thus had three years of eligibility left, and with a redshirt year some would still be in the program for four years. So, that made a little more sense to me after hearing that....although we both agreed that Prince's extension was purely a ploy to help him tell recruits that he would be around for awhile, not because they have so much confidence in his coaching abilities.

I don't know, but two of those weren't really fun stats.
Just two games -- Texas & Kansas -- accounted for an awful lot of that shortfall.

Iowa Hawkeye All-Stars, 2007-2008: Ryan Bain, Ricky Stanzi, Dana Brown, Tyler Gerstandt, Arvell Nelson, Bradley Fletcher, Dana Brown (x2), Ben Evans, Arvell Nelson (x2), Dominique Douglas, Anthony Bowman, Clint Huntrods, Lance Tillison, Dana Brown (x3), Dominique Douglas (x2), Brandon Myers, Ryan Donahue, Arvell Nelson (x3), James Cleveland, Cody Hundertmark, Cedric Everson, Abe Satterfield, Riley Reiff, Dexman Moses, James Ferentz, Harold Dalton, who will be next???

You mean respect. It has been a long time since we had respect. Even in Macs hay days we didnt get too much respect.

I'm not an expert on sports, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night

All the pre season talk is HOGWASH and doesn't mean SQUAT....the only thing that matters is what happens on the field aka the win-loss record!!

Nah - I think you judge this season more on player development and whether the players are getting better week-to-week than on W-L record. Because if we judge Chizik and the 'clones on W-L record this year there's going to be a lot of grumbling come season's end...
