And UNLV only has 49 yds. Does anyone else find these two stats disconcerting? We can't stop the run and can't run. Not good.

Don't care. After dealing with those fans, I will never root for them...no matter how bad it makes this year's loss look.

And remember, didn't Missouri beat Nevada like 69-17?

I think this just goes to show... ISU isn't a very good team, and Iowa isn't much better.

chizik (chiz-ick) verb, -ed
1)To leave in a lurch
2)To build hopes and dreams on talk of integrity and leave before attaining goals.

Still don't get why this is a shock to most people. We were 3-9 last year. We are better again this year, but still. Too much KoolAid I guess.

I wish I could get my hands on some of that KoolAid... it must be pretty strong stuff.

Yep. I agree. I think our coaching staff does a really good job of pregame preparation, and do an even better job of adjusting in game and at halftime. I believed GC when he said we are not a very good FB team yet. Doesn't mean we can't give people games, or sneak up on somebody, but we are not where he expects to be yet. I don't think that GC is the sort of guy to get outworked or outcoached by anybody though. Guy is a professional.

Our interior D-Line is pretty soft. Nothing against our DT's, they are busting their butts. They are just not big enough or good enough yet. Look at Alabama. The biggest difference to that team is they now have a NT that takes double teams every play. If we still had Rubin and Braaksma for this year, we are 4-0.
