First Preseason Poll Released

Granted, it is just a preseason poll, but notice how 5 of the 6 Big 12 teams either ranked or getting votes are from the Big 12 South. Only north team is Kansas, of course. Still obvious as to how the South has been dominating the North in most sports.

Last year Davidson beat them in the first round by six - I guess that's an "upset." That is the same Davidson that pounded the Big Ten's best team - Wisconsin - a round or two later.

Any news on when the Womens BB poll is coming out? I would be shocked if IState is not ranked in the top 25.

I would LOVE to play Indiana this year. They will simply be awful.

As far as USC goes, he does have Demar Derozen coming in, his guys are healthy, and Taj has another year to get better. I think USC will be in the top 25.

People forget that Mayo really wasn't playing all that well until they hit conference play and he really wasn't a PG. Derozen will fill in for him and the rest of their loaded 2007 class will have a year of seasoning.
