He was a successful receiver, this might hurt his career from here on out...might as well re-coop in case he never makes anything out of it thanks to this freak injury.
"I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day".-Frank Sinatra
Im assuming you are referring to the mother wanting to sue?
Yeah I am.
Was it a terrible injury? You bet.
Was it stupid that the carts were there? Probably.
There is all kinds of stuff all around the football field that players can/have been injured on. It is part of the game. If this lady sues and wins then the next thing we will see is NO ONE and nothing on the sidelines including the mascots etc. There will be a large airbag surrounding the entire football field. Better start playing flag football too because those pesky helmets have been causing some major injuries as well.

I think i agree with this completely. There are all types of benches, heaters and fans, TV cameras, etc near the field of play. Hell, the goal posts used to be on the goal line!!! I remember watching stevie hicks slip on the cement path that surrounds the texas a&m field, and thinking he surely pulled a groin. How bout the Auburn WR being bitten in the hand by the Georgia bulldog in the end of the endzone? Definitely a shame if it does effect a potential football career, but so is it when a guy blows an acl/mcl. Just hazards of the game i guess.

Sounds similar to Chris Street's parents.
Past performance does not equal future performance/salary.
If a defensive player is to know where the out of bounds line is and not hit an offensive player. Then shouldn't the offensive player know where the out of bounds line is and stop running?
