Student athletes get a lot of academic assistance. Its not always enough. Also if a coach were to inherit a team that had some players leave ineligible or put the team in a rough spot because of grades that coach might have less latitude on risking someone making grades.

Glad to see Dodie is doing well. I really thought he was going to be a good one for ISU. If it's true that ISU couldn't give him the academic assistance that he needed, that is really dissappointing.

My hopes are that we get to a point in ISU basketball when fans aren't throwing high expectations on newcomers to play extraordinary their freshman year. When we have upperclassmen playing well, the freshman should be on the bench learning and fans shouldn't expect anything more.

Greg just needs to get more talent to walk onto campus than has walked off in recent years. Grouping some of the people who have left could have made a nice team.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Good for Dodie! I hope he has a great colllege career. I really liked what I saw from him while he was a cyclone and was bummed when he left.
