    Mike Leach Coaching Offers

They're talking about Leach getting a lot of interest, but where / who is interested? TTech seems like a great fit and I'm sure they're gonna come up with the money for him.

    Re: Mike Leach Coaching Offers

    1) I'm sure that somebody has some level of interest. Whether it's serious enough that said school thinks he would actually move or not is another issue.

    2) Sportscasters need something to talk about, so they roll out the same old stories. Like they're paid by the word or the cliche.

    3) Texas Tech has to be able to come up with the money to keep him. Their fanbase would implode if they didn't.

Tennessee has been mentioned here in SEC land for Leach. Think I just read that in SI or the Arkansas paper as well.

Bingo; I was thinking his resume qualifies him for a premier program, but I couldn't think of any turnover, until you mentioned Tenn.

Good thing for Leach, because at least he'll have one offer to leverage Tech for a bigger paycheck.

Wouldn't take him 3 or 4 years to get the right players to run the offense he wanted? I don't see why he'd want to leave and go through those growing pains. Unless there is enough $$$$$......

I've heard the possibility of the NFL callilng. It would be interesting to see what his offense would do.

That wouldn't bee too surprising if they tabbed Kelly as their next coach. He seems to have the knack for winning no matter where.

Spurrier tried a similar (tamed down version) offense in the NFL and it didnt work to well for him.

True, and we might be seeing tonight what a good defense (Oklahoma) will do to that offense.

I think Leach needs to be off the radar. They just got embarrased by Oklahoma. Tennessee fans would HATE to see the Vols go 10-0 to get blown out by like Florida or something....
