The nation's leading scorer, Stephen Curry, was held scoreless against Loyola.

Loyola installed a triangle and 2 defense with both players guarding Curry. He went to the corner and watched his team play 4 on 3 for the entire game.

I'd still love to see one team out there cover everyone but the stud on the floor, maybe minimal pressure to just to prevent driving straight to the hoop on every possession - actually MAKE that stud beat you by scoring all the points.

I bet Curry took pride in actually having 0 points and helping his team win. 2 or 3 points would have ruined it.

I would literally fire the Loyola coach the next day. 4 on 3 never works. I'd make a point and boot him.

The coach should have made an adjustment after they started getting down. Really I'd be ****** if he were coach of a team I rooted for.

I can see maybe, maybe, giving it a try...even though it is a bad idea to play a game 3 on 4. But why in the hell would you stick with it after it was clearly not working. I really think he must have just been playing to hold Steph scoreless, and I would want him fired if I were a fan of that team. I mean, if GMac came out and said he wasn't even trying to win a game, but rather was trying to break some record or whatever, I would be so ******.

thats ridculous... no other teams are gonna try that. davidson has good players other than curry and if you give them a 4-on-3 every time down the court then that is just ridiculous

I wouldn't want to play for that coach. He made a silly personal goal bigger than winning the game. I'm sure his AD has taken note of that fact.
