What a joke! Charlie Weiss calls himself this offensive guru and ever since Brady Quinn left (Willingham commit) their offense has been brutal. They should go and fire him right now, and than hire Brian Kelly. They have some talent, all they need is a coach (not somebody who rode Billicheks gravy train).

And has there ever been a more overrated QB than Jimmy Clausen? He was the #1 player in the country. He has zero pocket presence and never makes the right read. I can honestly say that Austen Arnaud is a much better QB.

15 yards of offense halfway thru the 3rd quarter. Fire him!!

People feel ND has more talent then they show because they are ND. Once a player is on their recruit list the rankings on the kid go up because it is ND, this is reason #2344 that recruiting rankings are crap. Weiss does not have it and I think ND is going to continue to be down for a long while. Last bowl win was 15 years ago? ISU has won two since then!

Weiss is progressively getting worse - showing no signs of improvement. Never saw that coming at all with him - seriously.

Notre Dame should never be 33 point underdogs. They have some great talent. I know people say they get extra stars when they commit to Notre Dame but all the guys on their team had offers from other Big time schools

Who's going to take that job right now? Brian Kelley will get some sniffs from big name schools with realistic expectations. The ND donors will want a big name to regain some respect and I just don't see any big name coaches that will take that job. Maybe they can get Lou Holtz to come back or maybe his son Skip.

I would take that job in a heartbeat!!! Charlie Weiss may be a brutal coach but he is a wonderful recruiter. Last 3 classes have been 8,8,2 and this year they are top 10 again.

Brian Kelly could go there and win 9 games next year easy. He would look like a savior. Next guy to take that job will be a rockstar guaranteed.

FYI. Notre Dame just got their 1st First Down.....on the last play of the 3rd quarter.....ya Charlie you are a genious

I said that because using your reasoning, Chizik would be fired this year as well. Afterall, ND only has six wins but that is still three times as many as ISU. I dont think Chizik should be fired, nor do I think Weis should be fired. Turning around programs takes alot of time. If ND fires Weis, I hope they realize that they just signed up for at least 5 more years of losing becuase that is what would happen. Give him a few more years at least. He's done good recruiting, let those guys come in and try to make it better.

Lets also not forget, he has been to two BCS games.
