USC - UCLA Both To Wear Home Jerseys???

I think this is a cool idea! It will be interesting to see if the NCAA tells USC "no" whether Pete Carroll decides to go through with it and forfeit 2 of his time-outs each half?

That will look cool in HD! If the home team OK's the colors, you should be allowed to wear them. As long as the colors are not similar who cares.

Pete Carroll does a great job of keeping USC in the nat'l news. He is a PR machine.

I dont think USC is going to need the timeouts it will have to forfeit anyways....going to crush UCLA with or without them

Not so fast...

UCLA is now coached by the "Ric Flair" of college football. "The Dirtiest Player in the Game" if you will. And Norm Chow is playing the part of AA.

USC has had better teams than this one lose to worse UCLA teams than this one.

They just might need those time outs.

I really enjoy following USC and Pete Carroll...but you would think that a program that seems to annually "stub-its-toe" during the season that they would avoid this type of press/issue? Why put undue pressure on yourself? Although...sometimes it seems that is all those USC players respond to!

Yeah, especially where UCLA's own head coach thinks its a good idea and wants the tradition to start back up.

I thought some team in the NFL tried this not long ago and got shot down. It may have been the Raiders who wanted to wear home jerseys instead of the all blacks during a day game at San Diego so they could keep players cooler.

Anyone remember this?

I think it was the Broncos at San Diego. The Broncos intentionally brought the wrong unis.

As for Pete Carroll, would he be so willing to give up the TO's if UCLA were ranked in the Top 15?
