This game proves the parity that exists in men's college basketball this season. The number 2 team struggles against the Bulls? I really believe any team out there can beat any team if they play the right game.
I only bring this up since people seem to want to downplay the UNI win the other night. In basketball, any win you get against D1 competition is a big deal, particularly on the road.
Any given day. That's something I love about college basketball. In a sense, it's the Everyman sport.
There is a chance every game that any team could win, if things go their way. With team sizes, every school (Gonzaga!!!) has a chance to build a monster program. Every school canhave the opportunity to compete for the ultimate prize.
Some schools have advantages, like exposure, tradition, etc.; but everybody has a chance, any given day. That's what America is all about.
I got a little nostalgic there. Thanks for starting this thread!
