Proof the B10 is overrated

I bet very often and have for 20 years. You'd be surprised at how often the lines are wrong. People remember the bad beat by one point from the initial line but it's not as often as people think.

Track lines vs. actual score for a few weeks. You might be surprised. The problem is figuring out which side of the line to be on.

I had a long drawn out post written, but it started to not make sense. basically, I'd kill for Iowa's record this year. Weather other people thought we deserved it or not. You realize this is the same thing we bash them for when we beat them. "We didn't play well. We had an off day. It's your Super Bowl." Only we are doing the opposite. "They aren't that good. Weak schedule. Poor Conference. Etc." No matter what, they are going to the Bowl. Let it play out. I know that won't happen though, because if they do win big, some of us will just say they are lucky, or still didn't deserve it. All I know is it makes us look envious and childish.

Whoever had 1036 wins! I honestly didn't expect any of the Big 10 teams to be favored, and let's be honest about it, Iowa being favored by 3.5 may as well be a pick-em. The Penn St./USC line is somewhat surprising seeing how USC is playing at home, and they rarely lose out there. I would think the early trend in Vegas is that people are picking USC to cover. I would think that line would up over the coming weeks.

I agree with this, look at the teams they are playing:

USC
Texas
Kansas
Missouri
Florida State
South Carolina
Georgia

Iowa gets one of the better Big 10 bowls but probably the worst team on the list so that shows you the Big 10 has great bowl tie-ins.

i think texas and osu match up pretty well, and could even see osu pulling the upset. I wouldn't of thought that a month ago.

But I also think all of college football is down this year compared to recent years.
