Ok... While I agree that on paper Missouri is the better team, Northwestern will probably win because they are playing inspired and want to actually be there.
There also are beating Missouri at there own game. Spread it out and be pass happy.
I say if this was a regular season game it might have a different outcome.

Missouri looks like they will need a big play on defense to get the W. Isn't that ironic?

You're repeating a them echoed by many tonight. I've got a feeling that should jNU hang on to win that this will be the excuse as to why jNU was able to beat Chase Daniel and mighty Mizzou.
Chase Daniel is playing as badly as I have ever seen him play. If Mizzou wins it is because the rest of the team is that much better than NW. Daniel has missed 3-4 long passes that I have not seen him miss before. The passing D is not good but they have played well enough, now the guy who some touted as a Heisman candidate at one point is almost tot he point of a liability.

Ohh... I know it is a theme... I have not seen Missouri play this flat. Trust me, they have been on tv enough and played at JT. I think most of us can tell they are flat.
But if jNU as you call them win, well congrats. I still don't believe they are the better team. Like I still don't believe Iowa is better then Penn State. Boise better then OU a few years back. Upsets happen

Do you believe ISU was better than Iowa last year? Or how about in 2002?
Yes and Yes. We dont play in the Big 10 so our overall record might be off.
I'll give you last year. In 2002 the ISU game turned out to be a huge upset - it's just that no one knew it at the time. I don't think that an ISU that lost to then D-1AA UConn at home would have beaten Iowa at the end of the year. Like you said, upsets happen.

Not that it matters... It was UConn's first year in D1 I thought. Could be wrong though...
According to Wikipedia... 2002 was there first year in D1A
