Blows..............and the Big 12 looks solid. Now being fair I already thought Minne and Wiscy stunk and NW played about how I thought, as I wasn't high on Mizzou. MSU also played waaayyy better than I thought they would, but PSU really disappointed me.

USC on the Big stage it seems is just nearly impossible to beat and PSU just wasn't good enough to even make it respectable.

Now what I have gleaned from watching football all year is that QB play and strong defense (being able to pressure strong QB’s and tackle in space) is paramount to win in college ball anymore. With strong QB play coming in even above strong D.

The good news is ISU returns a ton of young players and what I think is a pretty darn good QB. Plus they have what appears to be some very exciting young skill guys on the edges and in the D-backfield. And even better…………..Iowa returns a ton of young talent and a “decent” QB who might get better as a Jr and a very strong D that got quite a bit of experience from the 2nd team D-linemen with one even getting Big 10 POW and a DE in Binns who may be the best pass rusher it seemed.

It will be an exciting competitive game next year in Ames no matter whether we both have new coaches or not....

Yeah, and I don't think losing Greene is that big of a hit... Hampton looks like he'll fill in just fine. Heck, maybe it's not the backs but the OL play that needs credit.

As for ISU- some rush ends and immovable DT's should have our athletic young secondary performing just fine. Our WRs look promising- lots of hype around the incoming Reynolds. Tiller vs. Arnaud might be an interesting story this summer. The most interesting Q for me is if/ how Bo Williams fits in w/ the rest of our running back group.
