I have never - not once - seen someone play funnel ball.
I google-searched funnel ball, and I couldn't find pictures of anyone playing funnel ball, except for kids from other countries and advertisements.
If you don't even know what game I'm talking about, I'd understand.
But I guess funnel-ball hoops cost upwards of $700.

We had those on our playground at school, back about 15 years ago, when I was in grade school. I never knew what those things were for or what they were called.

This has to be the least used piece of playground equipment ever... I've never seen anyone actually playing at one of these things. I always thought they were public art or something...

I don't even know why I thought of it, but I just remember thinking how funnel ball hoops were such a waste of playground space.
I don't even think there are any official rules. I think someone just throws it in, and whoever catches it gets the number of points written above the hole.
I suppose the game favors hustle and height. I hope no misguided park and rec managers are still wasting money on new funnel ball equipment.
We had one at my elementary school, I agree, it only rarely got used. Maybe on the days we had to stay on the blacktop.
Funnel ball is for sissies. It was developed for the satletically challenged kids to make is fair and square or socialistic playground activity: redistribution of points.
