Yeah you are right. I would go Big East, ACC.. then far beyond all the rest. Pac 10, Big 10, BIg 12, SEC it really doesnt matter from there on down.
Seriously, some of you really are ridiculous. The Big Ten teams beat "better" teams because it was early in the season and those teams hadn't gelled yet? Are you kidding me? That's a load of crock, and you know it.
The Big Ten has scoreboard. That's all there is to it. 5-2. Just like in football when the Big 12 was "FAR SUPERIOR" to the Big Ten because of the proof on the field, the Big Ten is better in bball.
Remember, MSU has beaten Kansas and Texas.
Iowa beat Kansas State and Iowa State.
Illinois beat Missouri
Illinois-Missouri was a neutral court game - Illini win
MSU-UT was a neutral court game (in Texas) - Spartans Win
Iowa-KSU was a neutral court game - Hawks win
So let's throw out the home games for the Big Ten. Fine, still have a 3-2 record.
Some of you are so incredibly blind it's unbelievable.
Actually, I miscounted. The Big Ten is actually 6-2 vs. the Big 12. MSU had a 94-79 win over Oklahoma State.
That's 4-2 on neutral courts.
I think the Big 10 is easily better this year. If it were a Hawk besides SouthernHawk, I'd feel dirty, but he's one of the good ones. And he's right, so that helps his case.
Alright, fair enough. I'll agree with you, the RPI should be the deciding factor in this debate. Poor me, being a Hawkeye fan, I have a hard time reading. Would you please tell me which conference is ranked higher in the RPI?

I still think the Big12 is much stronger than the big10 and will show it come NCAA time. If I am wrong I will give the big10 props but I just don't see them winning many tourney games only scoring 50 pts.
Just FWIW, Purdue lost to OU in overtime after leading for a lot of the 2nd half.
And yes, 4 of the 6 wins come from the top 2 BT teams. But they also come against the top 4 teams from the Big 12. The other two wins come from the 10th best team in the Big Ten.
So, let's recap.
Big Ten is 6-2 overall.
Big Ten is 4-2 on neutral courts.
Big Ten has 4 wins against the Big 12's top 4 teams, and an OT loss against another.
Big Ten has a higher conference RPI (2 is better than 4 last time I heard)
6th best team in the Big 12 is "bad" according to you.
And yet it's still debatable as to which conference is better? Why, because some of you say so? EVERYTHING, RPI, results on the court, statistics PROVE that the Big Ten is better, yet somehow some of you give a slight edge to the Big 12.
This is more ridiculous than when I tried to argue that the Big Ten was as good as the Big 12 in football this year.
Maybe an XBox 360 tournament would settle everything?:jimlad:
