The off man was focused on helping stop the drive. I think we have seen the dribble and the dish for a game winning basket about 3 times now in the last 2 days.

Yes and no.

Yes his guy got the lay up, and yes the weak side defender should of been sagging to the lane. No, in the sense that you are always supposed to stop ball, so him stepping up is partially right. I think the guy on the opposite side should of slid over when the one defender stepped up.

Don't know why Marquette didn't run the shot clock down on the last possession. If they wait til 1 on the shot clock then throw up a long bomb, Nova gets the rebound with three seconds left game over. Terrible game management at the end.
