    Right with you on this one. I've always liked these guys and it made it even sweeter that they were working the ISU games during the 2000 tournament run.

    They covered the regional in Detroit (Auburn Hills) the year we made the Elite Eight. They were both hanging out at the bar located just outside The Palace right after we beat UCLA. They were very approachable and it was a blast B.S'ing with them that night.

    A person could say that every game in the tournament is the national title game, since one loss ends that hope for the loser.

    I love Gus (and our annual Gus Johnson threads).

    Bill and Verne are great as a team. I really enjoy them.

    Mitch Holthus did a really nice job this year with our games. I really appreciated that he seemed to actually know who the players are/were. He added a nice personal touch to those games.

    I am soooooooooooooo glad that Billy Packer's time is ova.
