Not on the men's side. It happened once on the women's side, when #1 Stanford lost its best two players to injury in practice right before the game.

Princeton almost got Georgetown with Motumbo and Mourning. I think they almost beat UCLA the next year.

Albany should have beaten UConn a couple of years ago.
