    Rivals ranks the BT coaches

Rivals.com College Football - Whispers: Ranking the Big Ten coaches

Thought this should create some interesting debate.

Are you sure this is not a list of the most overpaid Big Ten coaches? Or a list of coaches with most players arrested the past two years?

Oh, I'm sure. It's a well thought out, absolutely impeccable list of the best coaches in the conference.

So why were they so bad the last couple years?!? If no Greene last year, they are .500 again.

KF is damn good coach. However, ranking him ahead of Tressel and Jo Pa is reckless.

If no Kirk Ferentz, the Hawks would actually be below .00

In all honesty though, if you take away most teams' best players, they'd be "below such and such". Invalid argument.

    Rodriguez #2, really

I don't care how good of a coach you think he is, he should not be ranked #2 in a conference after leading his team to their worst finish ever.

no cuz joePa would be a not so distant #2 on that list.

the list is just ludicrous though.

joepa has got to be near the top, along with tressel. dickrod should be near the lower middle because he hasnt done ****. Fitz shouldnt be at the top yet, but he will be soon.

    the REAL list.

    1. Tressel
    2. JoePa
    3. KF. Hate to say it, but 70-53 is hard to argue with. plus, the b10 just started being not so good recently.
    4. Dantonio/Bielma
    6. tthe Zooker (can recruit but not coach)
    7. Fitz (soon to be around 4)
    8. DickRod
    9. D hope
    10 Brewster.
    11.hahaha bill lynch.

Re: Rivals ranks the BT coaches

I see several posters mentioning being .500 or better as some sort of benchmark.

I think the more important number in Iowa City right now is .08.
