That is just crazy that it has went up that much that fast. Starting salaries prob havnt gone up that much in the same span and you are prob getting the same quality of eduacation I did. You maybe getting more out of your eduacation that I did but that is a different story.
It was raised I believe 9% last fall and they wanted to raise it another 13% earlier this semester. The cost of going to a state university in Iowa is out of control.
My daughter wants to got to college, but she wants to go to private for profit school. She will be paying 12,500 per semester. She thinks thats good. I showed her other colleges that are less and will teach the same. I will state that the college she ants to go to is Simpson. I believe she can get a better education at Iowa State or even UGHH Iowa and pay alot less. Can someone tell me what the tutition for Iowa State and or other colleges for on campus was for them? I know that 12.5k per the fall is wayyyyy to much.
Thanks in advance
Simpson really promotes their teaching program, but when my boyfriend(now spouse) was taking classes toward the teaching degree he found that most of the Jrs & Srs hated the program and were not looking forward to teaching.
As far as driving to and from Des Moines would be okay for Indianola or Ames. IF she does end up going to Simpson warn her to watch out for the one way streets around the college. They're awful.
