Re: Pryor vs Griffin
Both are going to be college stars for at least the next two years. Griffin plays in a spread offense that emphasizes short, safe throws. That's why his completion % and low # of INTs are impressive. His speed is off the charts and he's going to ring up some ridiculous stats.
I would not be one bit surprised if Pryor played his way into some outside Heisman talk this year. Before you freak out, let me explain. I really can see OSU playing for a perfect season. Their defensive line is stacked and with Pryor and their group of RBs, they will be nearly unstoppable on the ground. If they can get passed USC, they'll be in the NC hunt all year. With an undefeated record and Pryor's well-documented ability, don't be surprised if he's sitting next to Bradford, McCoy & Tebow in early December. Whether he's that good or not, we'll have to wait and see, but I'm just saying, that scenario isn't too far fetched. Getting passed USC is obviously a lot easier said than done, but the game is at home.
