Mike & Mike
They are discussing early commitments and don't have a clue how it works. I don't listen for months and listen one day because Czaben is on vacation...never again.
Yes, this is a post to complain about sports radio. -
Re: Mike & Mike
Ha and then I start a threat about the 13 yr old commit. I actually like Mike n Mike. They're all I listen to every morning. Even though they dont much about early commitments. ..jimlad

Re: Mike & Mike
It stinks that they can't be perfect, I mean common....

Re: Mike & Mike
You need to listen to Dan Patrick. He has the best sports radio show on right now

Re: Mike & Mike
Greenie was asking good questions and Golic's answer was "I'm sure they have stipulations...blah...blah." Good questions and clueless answers. Can't anybody just admit they don't know something any more?

Re: Mike & Mike
Personally, I don't hold Mike & Mike to as high of a standard as other programs because to me they are really more entertainment radio for the casual fan.

Re: Mike & Mike
Dan Patrick's ego is part of the show. Jim Rome's biting sarcasm is part of his show. Mike and Mike trying to keep it to the everyday fan level is a part of their show.
It's just what works for them. Some people like it, some don't.

I agree with your post. Mike and Mike dumb it down for the common sports fan. A lo tof women I work with lwho don't know a lot about sports listen and watch. The bring a lot of comedy to sports. Rome's shtick is old and tired.

Re: Mike & Mike
Mike and Mike can't say a complete sentence before being interrupted by a commercial. I don't mind listening to them, I just don't. I can't take all the commercials.

Was anyone a fan of Tony Bruno? I know the popularity of Deace seems to be hit or miss on here, but after living in various major sports markets, I have yet to listen to one better (as long as he sticks to sports). His only downfall is he is he is forced to be the Cyclone guy as a non-Cyclone. I would prefer he was teamed up with someone Big 12 centric and neutral fan with-in the state. Miller needs to be balanced with a true Cyclone fan.
