If the BCS went to 5 bowls what bowl should the 5th be?
This was on CFN yesterday and thought it would be interesting to see what people here thought. Here's what a couple of writers answered: Scout.com: 7/7 Roundtable - The 5th BCS Game Will Be ...
While I think the northern bowl is interesting I don't see it happening. I would vote for the Holiday Bowl I think

a new bowl. the Cereal Bowl, perhaps sponsored by Kelloggs

Id still vote for the cotton bowl. Half the reasons against there are because of the hate for jerry jones. Those really arent good reasons to me. Its a top of the line stadium, in an area that would really support having a bowl game. A lot of the other suggestions are in states that already have a BCS game. Texas doesnt have one, and given it is such a football heavy state, really should be next in line.

BCS is at 5 bowls - Sugar, Rose, Orange, Fiesta, and National Championship Game (remember it's an independent BCS game played at one of the sites now). What we're talking about is a sixth game played at a fifth site.
That being said, I'd say the likely candidates would be Cotton, Citrus (CapOne), or Outback - with the most likely being Cotton.

It would be the Cotton Bowl. There is no way the State of Texas would let Florida or California get a 2nd BCS Bowl before they had one.

We also have our fair share of insignificant arguments too, if you're interested. -

The only bowl that should be considered for this is the Cotton Bowl. Of all the bowls listed, the Cotton Bowl has the tradition national titles being decided by it ('60 Syracuse; '70 Texas; '71, '78 & '79 Notre Dame). Despite the fact it's now lining Jerry Jones' pockets and if I ever got the chance, I would walk up to him and punch him in the face, the Cotton Bowl should be the one.

Wouldn't it be easier to just have a 2nd game at one of the current sites?

And it would probably be easier to just have the games all at one site... or have each game at one of the team's stadiums. Its never been about whats easier, its been about the fan experience.

Cotton Bowl is the obvious choice...
Put the "5th" bowl in Green Bay. "The Aquafina Ice Bowl." Or, rotate it between northern NFL outdoor stadiums like Lambeau, Soldier, Invesco, Heinz, Gillette, Giants Stadium, and Lincoln Financial.
Let's see how those SEC/USC teams do when it's -4 outside with a -20 wind chill and a hit from a linebacker or a bruising RB feels like getting hit by a 18-wheeler.
