Ohio State Linebacker out for season...
Source: Ohio State linebacker Tyler Moeller likely to miss season with head injury - ESPN
The guy apparently got punched at a bar and hit his head. Then he had a seizure a few days later during a team practice.

I wondered when this story would gain traction. Sad story...kid is a pretty good athlete.
There is really only one valid reason to hate Michigan football, and that is the fact that we taught Notre Dame the game. -
Re: Ohio State Linebacker out for season...
ESPN really messed this one up. They reported that the kid got in a brawl in Cinncinati and that is how he got his injury.
It wasn't until a bunch of people were furious about how they made this kid look did they realize that he was on a family vacation, was with his sister and uncle, at a restaraunt, when a fan of another team came up and sucker punched him.
Sad story.

Wow... That is insane. I can't believe that someone would be able to pick out a LB from another school while on a family vacation... And then have the gaul to sucker punch him.

Who was the chump a fan of? The only ones I could think of that would have that much hate for tOSU would be Michigan fans. -

*edit* - So I don't get accused of baiting, I'm talking about Michigan and Penn St. - Michigan because it's tOSU, and Penn St. because, well, Penn St. fans are jackholes.

Nice people, all of them, but they get fiercely protective of Penn St. when it comes to athletics. I've also seen a couple of videos of encounters between Penn St. fans and other teams...(there's one where a couple of Ohio State fans are walking to their cars and being pelted with full beers, just for walking by - do a YouTube search and you can find the video I'm talking about, I won't put it here because of the language, but it got to be a pretty big news story)
I do remember being told stories of students at Happy Valley taking the big, full, souvanier containers of hot chocolate and whipping them off the second deck at people...heavy containers filled with scalding liquid...yeah...
Bottom line, when I combine the people I know, with lots of alcohol, and a serious numbers advantage, I can see baaaaad things happening.
I'm aware I'm probably unfairly judging an entire fan base on the actions of a minority, but I can't say I had a very positive experience with the Michigan or Ohio St. fans I ran into at Toledo two years ago. To be fair, I've heard horror stories about Wisconsin fans in Madision, which is a little shocking to me as a Wisconsinite. I've been to a lot of Big XII stadiums, and besides Texas Tech and one drunk jackhole at OU (his friends were fine with him going after Flag Guy, but not me for some reason...), I've always been treated with respect (although I'm not looking forward to going to CU).

I'd say some Michigan St and some Iowa fans are capable of that as well. But in the end it's probably a Michigan fan that did it.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

Not even the Buckeye boards are pointing fingers at us at this point. Thanks. There is really only one valid reason to hate Michigan football, and that is the fact that we taught Notre Dame the game. -
