    Really, SI?

    This is obviously a tragic event, and my prayers go out to the girl's family and friends.

    I understand the college football angle a little (Wingate?), but is it appropriate/necessary to have a story like this in the Top Stories on SI's college football frontpage?

    First of all why was he dating someone that is 16? 16 is legal in SC, but damn that's a big gap in age considering she was probably a soph in hs.
