    The man came to Iowa State with glowing accolades about his coaching ability.

    I'm not ready to label him as a 'bad coach', based on 2-years at Iowa State - just probably bad Coordinators; particularly on Defense.

    Probably a below avg Off Cord (we couldn't get plays in on time, but the offense looked really good late last year).

    his best man is his recruiting coordinator scott fountain.he is sealing deals with several recruits. i wish rhoads would have kept fountain. i hope arkansas kicks chizledick's butt. may a thousand blue birds of happiness fly over chizzledick's head and crap on him. he really screwed iowa state for purposes of recruiting.

    He is a good fit and he does deserve some credit for them going 5-0. No matter the talent you have you have to be able to coach it. He learned from is mistakes at ISU. He seems like a different coach all the way around now.

    A couple of thoughts.....

    • I haven't paid that close attention to today's game, but has AU already used 2 TO's to avoid delay penalties? Some things never change...
    • Agreed...he has much better coordinators....but how long before Malzahn (sp?) leaves for greener pastures? And then what happens?
    • Interesting how much time the announcers spend talking about the OC and how little about the HC for AU...I guess GC gets no respect...
