SEC commissioner Mike Slive says Kentucky freshman John Wall is battling eligibility issues - ESPN

Doesn't suprise me in the least, but he'll suit up and likely not miss a game IMO.

I am waiting for the day when some AD or president of a university says "we hired coach (insert name) to win! Nothing else matters but winning! Just win!"!!!

It is a joke that an institution hires the likes of John Calipari but claims to care most about a STUDENT-athlete and their academic progress! They must think we are as dumb as some of the players they get into their schools!

I'm actually going to go the opposite way on this. I do think he'll be punished. Granted he does play for Kentucky, but this is a Kentucky under Caliparri. With his past issues I would think that the NCAA doesn't grant them any special priviledges that Kentucky is used to getting. I think this is going to be similar to what Indiana went through when they hired Sampson. Stuff that was usually overlooked at a school like Indiana suddenly became an issue.
