Notre Dame. Without question.
Everyone says their tradition helps them, but they've traditionally sucked the past 10 years.
Notre Dame can lose 4 games per year, still be in the top 25 and still go to a good bowl. I understand their fan base is responsible for their TV contract and preference with bowl committees, but the rankings are inexcusable.
I still think no other team in the history of sports (college or professional) received as much credit for a loss as they did against USC a few years ago.

What about their "decided schematic advantage,"and the most pompous coach in America? (never thought I'd say that, after witnessing Coach Superior...)
