Overhyped teams

MSU has to be the winner this year.

Montana State, Michigan, Western Michigan, NW, Illinois.

Those are their only wins this year.

Losses to Minnesota, Central Michigan.

Who is your favorite overhyped team?

Penn State. Ranked as high as 5th, recently ranked 11th. Their two toughest games were at home and they lost both. They, like the rest of the Big 10+1, are overrated.

Year in and year out, it is Cal and Clemson. Every year for both teams, we get to hear how "this is the year" for them. Every year they win 6 or 7 games.

Clemson has GOT to be on that list. Although, they're not looking bad right now. They may have a shot at the ACC, but that's not saying much.

I'd also like to put West Virginia and Pitt on the list.

How so? Pitt had that early road loss to NC State but they have looked VERY good since.

Hey now, don't be ragging on Pitt.

Seriously though, their schedule definitely hasn't been overly tough so far, but they have won quite a few of their games very convincingly. The next three weeks (Notre Dame, West Virginia, Cincinnatti) should show just how good this team is. I'm looking forward to it.

Georgia...and it is not even close. Year in and year out top ten recruiting classes and preseason top tens. By the end of the season, never to be heard from again.
