If it comes down to money, like it normally does, don't count out BSU. I guess their Fiesta Bowl game was one of the highest rated non-championship bowl games over the last few years and they brought 35,000 fans.

Re: 3 teams in BCS
Boise has a better chance at getting in as at-large than TCU would because Boise travels well. The interesting thing is the bowl match ups may determine who gets the last 2 berths. Most think its Iowa and Boise but who takes Texas place in Fiesta with the first pick could decide what the other selection

Don't confuse hope for a plan. -
Re: 3 teams in BCS
Boise and TCU WILL both get in if both are undefeated. All eyes are on the BCS this year. They don't want Obama messing with their system. Trust me...both will get in and the remaining spot will be between PSU, Iowa, Pitt, or Okie St.

BCS games (and all bowl games) pick teams based on ticket sales and tv ratings. Cincinatti would be a disaster for whichever game is unfortunate enough to get them. They have no fan base and nobody would watch that game. Pitt is pretty much the same way.

Re: 3 teams in BCS
I know TCU must get picked I was using them as an example because they weere the other ranked non BCS school. TCU is in the Top 4 they are auto in.

Re: 3 teams in BCS
One thing I can guarantee you.......
You won't see TCU, Boise State AND two teams from the Big East.
That would be a ticket sales AND ratings disaster for the BCS.

Re: 3 teams in BCS
Aren't all top 6 teams guaranteed a BCS bowl? So, if 3 teams somehow ended up in he top 6 and the same conference, couldn't this be true? maybe not.

Re: 3 teams in BCS
No top 4 are in auto and you can only get 2 in no matter what

So why were they left out last year?

Re: 3 teams in BCS
Because the BCS had to select Utah as they were ranked higher than Boise and last year they had more "name" schools that the BCS could pick from. This year they are going to have to take a team that has 2 losses and how do you take 2 teams that have 2 losses over a team that has traveled well and is perfect? That will be interesting to see

Re: 3 teams in BCS
Question if Clemson were to beat G.Tech in the ACC title game would the ACC get that 2nd team?
