    Re: Wesley Johnson article

I'd love to play Syracuse in the tourny just to hear the crowd's reaction to Wesley's name being called...

People remember his soph season and thus they are so quick to brush aside how good he is. He was only 50% that entire season
I definitely remember his freshman year. He's very good, no doubt about that. But, do you really think he's at least the 4th best player in the world who's not in the NBA right now? To me, he is basically another Corey Brewer. Really good, definitely NBA caliber, but not a perennial all-star.

His current stats (through four games):

    PPG: 17.3
    APG: 1.5
    FG%: .571
    3P%: .471
    RPG: 7.5
    BPG: 2.5
    SPG: 2.8

He's off to a great start, but that's going to be very hard to maintain. Especially the field goal percentages, blocks, and steals. My guess is all these stats will be lower by the end of the season, except perhaps, assists.
