Re: Should Notre Dame just drop their football program?

I dream of the day when a 6 win season is the call for the head of an ISU coach!

Whey you pay a coach as much as they do and get top 10 talent year in year out you would expect more than 6 wins. Any coach that takes that job knows what he is getting into.

Should ND drop football? No. What ND should do is join the B10 and recognize that the B10's Boston College is what they're going to be and that is all they're going to be.

Notre Dame Football for all intents and purposes is dead as an independant, dominant force in CFB. If they can keep their top five recruiting classes and sweet TV deal as a perennial .500 team then more power to them but to say that they're relevant is just wrong.

Calling something "THE best" is an opinion.
