The bowls are becoming more and more about who you are not how good you are.
LSU can't get in unless someone passes on the loser of Florida/Alabama.Quote:

The list will be trimmed after this weekend even more. The BCS does this in a way to keep fan interest and so that the lesser bowls can't start "setting in stone" their match ups
if you gather all the people that go to Miami Hurricane football games and all the people that go to Iowa hawkeye basketball games you will have enough people to sell out the next game at the Knapp Center.
I thought the BCS was just designed to put the top two teams in the National Championship. After that it's really pointless.
