Thought some of you melt-downers would be pleased to know that NU is dismantling NC State on the road right now 47-37 late in the second half.

Game is on ESPNU for those who care.

While yes, it is a good win, I normally wouldn't consider a 10 point lead to be dismantling someone.

While I agree with you about the 10 point lead... We lost by two points to NW. I couldn't listen or watch the game, but when I logged on to CF later that night, I swore we lost by 20 or 30 points and were dominated the whole game.

People melted down because of a 2 point loss. Every year, even the best teams lose to someone they aren't suppose to.

Actually, with their style and "controlled" scoring, a 10 point lead is a pretty good dismantling.

NW has now beat to top 25 programs (in some polls)....? this was a good road Win for them

It amazes me how well NW is playing without a couple of their top players. Don't think they are the 8th or 9th best in Big Eleven.

Uh, what is the significance of the outcome of this game? Please tell me. I would think NW would have been favored, as NC State didn't even make the NIT last season.

It's nice to see them be able to take it on the road in a hostile environmnent. Just lends credibility to the fact they are a good team.

Nothing really, but it does mean that the Big 10 is 4-0 in the made-for-tv Big 10/ACC challenge. The Big 10 has never won it, and they've got just as good a look at winning it this year as they'll ever have.

Well...looks like 3-1 now; Maryland is going to beat Indiana.
