Sounds to me like Coach Kiff if pulling a page out of Gary Barnett's book. That word hostess always makes a guy scratch his head.

We have girls that take guys around on visits when they come here. I know a lot of the Soccer girls have done it in the past.
However...sending them 200 miles away to attend one of their high school games? Too far Lane...too far.
Besides...just send your wife!
"Oh, honey, they were only 'hostesses'" - Tiger Woods (Nov. 2009)
IT's one thing to have good looking girls show the recruits around campus. It's another to send them 200 miles to the high school of the prospect. You could consider the hosts traveling to the high school as recruiters which would be a violation of NCAA rules since only the football coaches are the only ones that can recruit a prospect.
Oral commitments??
I think that Kiffin ruffled too many feathers of the "big dogs" when he rolled into town. And, has made a lot of powerful enemies that are going to have people watching his every move, and calling him out at every corner. He may have been able to get away with that at a MAC or MWC school, but he's in a conference that knows every possible way to cheat. And they will get him run out of town and Tennessee on probation faster than he can say Al Davis...if he doesn't abide by all the rules...
i wish i had dna involved in this investigation.
The crap just hit the fan a little more. SI has a picture of two recruits with the hostesses

I see nothing wrong with this. Nothing.
A couple of corrections need to be made--at this point it appears no one in the football office or the athletic department "sent" these girls to this high school game.
Hostesses would be considered official representatives of the school and hence would be in violation of NCAA rules--but this would be a secondary violation only. Also, UT self-reported this long before SI or the New York Times go ahold of it.
Wasn't this also how we lost the LB to Ole Miss...Marry?
Nutt was getting his Ole Miss Gals to help recruit players?
I didn't read the article, sorry, at work and trying to keep browsing here. Anyways, did it say anything about that being a recruiting violation straight up, beyond the morality of the issue? I remember reading through the compliance manual I got long ago when I became a donor. And even myself, as a fan, going to a high school game, I can't meet, talk or in any way interact with any players, even though I'm not an official rep of the university. All anyone is allowed to do, to a player they don't know, is merely observe.
