The Morris twins have really improved from last season. Danny Manning really deserves some credit for the improvement of Cole and the twins over the last couple seasons.

Markieff Morris was probably KU's 7th or 8th best player last season. Check out his stats per 40 minutes so far this season:

21.2 points per 40 min
14.8 rebounds per 40 min

By comparison, here's Brackins's stats so far this season:

22.7 points per 40 min
9.5 rebounds per 40.

Michigan has been in panic mode and jacking up 3's throughout this entire second half so far. They need to get easy baskets and make stops on the defensive end of the floor to at least back into this.

Michigan kind of plays D like a couple of those Wayne Morgan teams. Either give up a bucket or get a steal, without much middle ground.

KU not handling the 1-3-1 very well, but is getting good looks every time they can string together 3-4 good passes to their own teammates.

Aldrich hasn't made a field goal the entire game and they still look like a sure-fire final four team. That in its self tells me a lot.
