What strikes me as odd is the large difference in number of votes between Nick Saban and Mack Brown. Saban gets a bunch, but Brown gets 1? Both programs were expected to be really good, what makes Saban's job so much better than Brown's?

Probably because Bama had a much tougher schedule and just beat down the #1 team in the country while Texas had to survive on a last second FG to beat Nebraska.
