Re: Keith Jackson
I love KJ as well, but when you can no longer find the restroom, its time to retire.

Re: Keith Jackson
Ya I loved Kj too, I think Musberger and Herbbie do a good job

Re: Keith Jackson
herbie is good, musberger blows. couldn't even hear Jackson speak during the coin toss...who is in charge here?

Re: Keith Jackson
Musburger is long past his prime, but at least his football broadcasts are not nearly as bad as his basketball broadcasts. He is consistently plays behind in the action because he won't shut up and his slow speaking style can't keep up with the quick paced action of basketball. Luckily he normally gets assigned big 10 basketball so I rarely have to endure him.

Re: Keith Jackson
I agree, get rid of him. BM is nothing more than a drama queen. I would take a senile Keith Jackson any day of the week.

Re: Keith Jackson
I liked tim brandt (after KJ obviously) he covers some cyclone games and does a great job.
Brad Nessler has a great voice for college football too.

Re: Keith Jackson
Grossburger ruins the broadcast.

Re: Keith Jackson
Jackson was the best. Herbstreit is fair and good. Mussburger is bad. The one thing he always does that brings me out of the recliner is his comment after some guy (usually a senior) makes a good play "you'll be seeing him do that next year on Sunday!" or something like "he's ready for the NFL now". He's always got a half dozen or more guys in the game headed to Canton, Ohio.

Re: Keith Jackson
I don't care for Mushburger.
But I still can't get over how excellent our Broadcast crew was for the Insight Bowl game. Kudos to Paul B - he'll be heading to the big time pretty soon.

Re: Keith Jackson
BM gets hard anytime he does an Iowa game. Am I the only one that notices that. They always have to show a farmer in his tractor before they show Kinnick. Then he talks about the ANF on Iowa's helments. Which half of the inner city kids probably think it is in reference to "A New Field" since they put it back on this year

Yeah I almost lost it last night on the sack and the fumble late in the game Musberger says "Anders comes in off the edge un-molested" un-contested maybe?
Almost as good as the anouncer in the texas bowl when ISU played TCU and on a Berryman sack on of the annoucers said "Berryman with the slow penetration from behind".

I thought I heard that somewhere but maybe I'm off my rocker. I'm almost positive that Franklin & Fraschilla are off the Big 12 games. I'll miss Ron Franklin. He and Sunvold/Fraschilla were great together.
