What was the Big 12 vs Big 1o head to head record this year?

Ding, ding, ding we have a winner and proof of the pudding. That is what it has always been about. See you guys can actually get me a little with my attitude as I don't like to be a jerk, but when it all comes right down to it you guys hate Iowa and you don't want to hear anything that might make them look good in any fashion.

I do appreciate our follow up here because I do take my actions quite seriously. This debate stuff is just for fun. Though I don't think you guys are having much fun.

The way it is now OSU goes to a BCS game about every year. That brings a lot of money and attention to that school. With Texas in the conference they will not go to a BCS bowl every year taking money of of their pocket.

If tOSU doesn't have serious concerns about UT joining the Big Ten, they are foolish. And it has nothing to do with the "Big Ten sucks" fairy tail. For further information, discuss with your nearest Husker fan, or the athletic director of that former football power, Tom Osborne.

Seriously I get it. Yes I can be a little strong but I got in a thread discussing the viability of Texas and the Big 10 and a few said no. It is viable, and you guys, again stressing you guys turned it into this. I know I need to be the bigger dude and believe me, I take that seriously but you guys are the sensitive ones here.

Please be honest with yourselves. You'll never see me, I live in Illinois and I don't talk to Iowa or ISU fans hardly ever. You are concerned about your local Hawk fan rubbing your nose in Texas may "jump" and bar the doors if they do and they lose a few games. That and that alone upset you. It ain't ever going to happen and I never ran the Big 12 down once, nor ISU.

The Big 10 is a solid, well maintained conference that makes lots of money. It is what it is. Nothing more nothing less. I didn't say they played better football or b-ball or anything like that. They are richer and more watched and that IS a fact.

UT is already out-spending and out-earning tOSU, and now you want to give Texas $20,000,000 more to play with for joining the Big Ten.

Any school in any conference who's goal is striving for athletic championships should be seriously concerned about UT joining their conference. UT is a rich school located in the heart of a fertile recruiting ground for many sports, particularly the top two money makers, FB and MBB. It would be completely arrogant to not be concerned about UT becoming dominant (which pretty much described NU at the beginning of the Big 12, and pretty much describes what we are hearing from you.)

Yes, NU is ultimately responsible for their own failure, and one of NU's failures was neglecting to account for how UT's immense resources (in both money and geography) would affect them and change the old Big 8 conference nature that NU had become accustomed to.

OU: 1993 1996 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2007
UT: 1990 1991 1992 1994 1997 1998 1999 2005 2006 2008 2009

It would seem that in recent history, UT has been will adept at beating OU. Since the formation of the Big 12, the series is tied at 7-7.

In addition, with regards to UT, the circumstances between OU and NU are completely different. As OU has played UT annually for over a century, and OU was/is well aware of UT's financial and geographic advantages. That why Bob Stoops raids Texas for recruits, and has since he took over at OU. NU did not observe this, or did observe it and chose not to act accordingly due to arrogance..
