Re: Kiffin leaving Tenn is worse then Chizik leaving ISu

Why would it surprise anyone that this "used car salesman" is already contacting his former Tennessee recruits. The shame of it is that his dad, Monte, has always been a stand-up, first class guy. Lane, however, is a sleeze bag, to say the least.

Not if the NCAA drops the hammer and bans USC from bowl games for awhile.
Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

Why is/was everyone bent at why Chizik left ISU....It was a win-win scenario for both sides...even before hired CPR......Chizik looked and it felt like he had no business being here....He had a chance to take a better job....no one on this site would not do the same....We were 5-19 in 2 years under Chizik...We had 3 quality wins his first season and did jack-squat the rest of the way....

It was interesting the way he put it, tho. While saying he wouldn't go after TN recruits he repeatedly said if TN recruits contacted him they'd go after them. While denying, sanctimoniously, that he would ever, ever do such a thing he threw an open invitation to every TN recruit to come to USC. You know, cause noone could blame him if the kid contacted them, right?

I think it would be kind of funny if Rick Neuheisel stole a few of those "TN" recruits.
