More Reason to Hate Vitale
I have a buddy that is a GA at Kansas State. K-State plays Kansas on Wed. on ESPN, and Vitale is calling the game. He called ahead to the KSU athletic department and demanded that he was given a locker room instead of getting ready on the media truck like other coordinators. Apparently K-State has limited locker room space, and put Vitale in the locker room KU was supposed to be in, and moved KU to a media room. Kind of funny that KU got relegated to a media room because of Vitale, but non-the-less shows how big of a tool that guy is.

He couldn't do one ISU-KU or ISU-OU/TEX match-ups when we were ranked in the T10 in '00 and '01 as well. Too good for us. F-him.

If I was KSU I'd block off a corner of the men's bathroom with velvet ropes then escort him to his stall and tell him they'd place a guy outside the door so no one bothers him. -

There's no way KSU is giving vitale the visitor's locker room. They might be kicking some kansas staff from an auxiliary locker room, but there's no way in hell dukie v is getting the visitor locker room to himself.
read this post quickly - it might not last long -

KSU may make an exception for this game. I hate Vitale but that would be too funny.

Re: More Reason to Hate Vitale
I'll have to tune into this game at Kansas State to get the latest updates from Dick on how Duke is doing this year, how good they were in the past with the greats like Laettner, Hill, Boozer, and Hurley, as well as how good they are going to be with the incoming recruiting classes.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. I thought it was strange too, but my friend has no reason to lie to me about it. He is really not looking forward to it because he is responsible for escorting the visiting around the arena, and he knows how much Bill and the Boys will whine about it.

Can't wait till the NCAA tourney comes around and I no longer have to hear him call games.

Saying that he actually calls games is giving him way too much credit; he spends most of his time talking about anything but the game at hand. That is one of my peeves; he does not focus on the game in front of him, but some other past or future--take your pick--game he is more excited about. But it is when he rants about yet another "diaper-dandy," who is "notorious," that is when I turn the volume off: too many cliches and misused words for me--second peeve. Someone should tell the guy that "notorious" means bad reputation as opposed to "fame," which means good.

Re: More Reason to Hate Vitale
Why would this make US hate Dicky V more? I think it's hilarious, put KU in the electrical closet!
